Digital Virtuosos: My Blogger Inspirations: pt 1

Whether their area of expertise lies in marketing, publishing, or entrepreneurship, these individuals are perfect examples of digital virtuosos!

Remember this 😏Being a new blogger, there was one aspect that troubled my mind the most: "Where should I start?" While I have had years of writing experiences (academic, editorial, creative, etc.) and tons of ideas that had been swirling around in my head for months, thinking of an initial topic did not come easily at 1st.

Nevertheless, in seeing the name of my blog at the top of a blank page and thinking of the very essence of the word virtuoso, an epiphany was born: digital virtuosos. These are the people who are true virtuosos of the digital world—people who have fervently engulfed themselves into digital marketing, publishing, and entrepreneurship. These are the people who have deeply encouraged me. I introduce to you, in no particular order, 1 of 3 of my blogger inspirations...

1. Vannesia Darby
I first met Vannesia Darby at our church—Cathedral of Praise (COGIC)—in Nashville, Tennessee. Between connecting over the fact that we both have V names, working on the church’s eblast, and volunteering at TEDxNashville together, I quickly learned that in addition to being a cool friend...the girl had mad skills! While working with her on the eblasts for Sunday services, I saw just how much of an expert she was at her craft. Her knowledge about social media, digital marketing, and areas of the like, was beyond remarkable. After adding one another on social media,  I soon experienced her skill set on an even bigger level, when she started her company: Moxie Nashville.
Filled with weekly motivation blurbs, pep talk sessions, advice for college life, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship, Vannesia’s blog was—and continues to be—the perfect mixture of need-to-know knowledge for striving professionals. As a digital virtuoso, she has been a guest speaker at a plethora of events, worked with several media influencers/companies, and continues to progress as a successful entrepreneur. With her relatability, kind spirit, and tenacity to help others, it is easy to see why Vannesia is one of my inspirations as a new blogger.

*Please be sure to follow Vannesia Darby on Facebook & Instagram. Also, make sure you subscribe*
to her blog Moxie Nashville. See for yourself  exactly why she made this list!

I hope you have a great week, lastly, like, share, & subscribe to my blog so I know it's real 😄

Bilal Qizilbash: Virtuoso of Knowledge

As a writer, you start to get a knack for knowing when a story is going to be a good one; nevertheless,   there are times when a story comes along so captivating, that you realize you’ve underestimated just how great that story really is...this was the truth that I recently experienced when interviewing Bilal Qizilbash: award-winning scientist; community leader; business owner, and speaker, who has been featured in a plethora  of prominent mediums ( Forbes, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, etc.). While Bilal is laden with many sought-after titles, one of the aspects most admirable about him, is that the title he desires to consistently hold...is being “a decent human being.” As it happens, upon hearing the sincerity and positivity of Bilal’s words and the auspicious future that he desires to build for his community, decent only scratches the surface of the virtuous human being that is...Bilal Qizilbash. _________________________________________________________...

A True Virtuoso of Art

With a personality as radiant as her art, it's not surprising that Stephanie Arnwine has been afforded a plethora of great opportunities: sponsorships, autographed pieces, and even celebrity admiration regarding her amazing works. While these things alone could start to paint the picture of her being a virtuoso, Arnwine possesses even more attributes that can vividly attest to the reasons why she is truly deserving of the title…
